STEELEVILLE, Zeno Black, 90, of Steeleville, passed away at 8:25 A.M. Monday, September 28, 2009, at his home in Steeleville, IL. He was born July 21, 1919 in Steele, Missouri the son of Joseph E. Black and Mary (Fuellel) Black. He married Mary L Hoffman on March 11, 1983 in Ste. Genevieve, MO. Mr. Black was of the Baptist faith and retired operator of a tavern. He is survived by his wife: Mary L. Black of Steeleville; sons: W. Doyle Black of Huntington, TX, Joseph E. Black of Sesser, IL; Seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Due to Mr. Black's wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
