PERCY – Yvonne "Bunny" Walters, 79, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Three Springs Lodge, Chester, Illinois.

Bunny was born on November 3, 1944, the daughter of Edgar A. and Agatha E. (Alexander) Holt. She married Frank T. Walters on April 6, 1963, at DuQuoin Baptist Church, DuQuoin, IL. Yvonne was retired from Walmart, owned Bunny's Ceramic Shop in Percy, IL, and worked at Biermann's Market in Percy, IL. She was a member of Denmark Baptist Church, Cutler, IL.

Bunny is survived by her husband, Frank T. Walters of Percy, IL, her daughter, Sandy (Shane) Wagner of Tilden, IL, her grandchildren: Jessicca (Stephen) Escobar, Ashley (Andrew Sommer) Wagner, Brandy Wagner, Shana (Matthew) Wasson; her great grandchildren: Jacob Price, Luna and Logan Escobar, Cullen Wasson, Eloise and Iris Sommer; her sister, Sharon Jones of Florida, her grand dog, Sampson, and her beloved dog, Chris.

Bunny was preceded in death by her parents, son, Rick Walters, twin sister, Yvette Holt, and a brother, Charles Holt.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Marty DeRoche officiating. Burial to follow at Percy Cemetery, Percy, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, where friends may call from 9:00 am till time of service at the Funeral Home.
