Obituary
Percy – Yvonne E. Russell, 95, of Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly of Green Valley, Arizona, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 4:36PM at the Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born on November 1, 1921 in Campbell Hill, Illinois, the daughter of William and Mary (Luthy) Snider. She married Rev. Nelson E. Russell on August 22, 1942 in Perryville, Missouri. He passed away on July 6, 1988
Yvonne was a Homemaker. She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church in Green Valley, Arizona.
Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Luwana (Robert) Wallace, Wake Forest, North Carolina, 6 Grandchildren, Eric Wallace, Toby Wallace, Liana Montanher, Jeb Wallace, Shannon Bane and Jennifer Summerville, 8 Great Grandchildren, 1 son-in-law, Lance Boyer, Lancaster, Ohio and Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Mary Jane Boyer, 5 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00AM Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, Illinois with the Rev. David Nowell officiating. Burial will follow at Percy Village Cemetery in Percy, Illinois. Visitation will be at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville on Monday where friends may call from 10 to 11AM. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation or the Donor's Choice.
