MURPHYSBORO, Wilma C. Heller, 86, of Murphysboro, passed away at Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Rehab and Care Center in Murphysboro, IL. She was born March 16, 1924 in Welge, Illinois the daughter of Robert Chadderton and Lillie (Wolter) Chadderton. Wilma married Charles R. "Preach" Heller on October 1, 1948 in Steeleville, IL. She is survived by her husband Charles R. "Preach" Heller of Murphysboro, IL; Daughter and Son-in-law: Rose and Irv Cartwright of Elkville, IL; Step grandchildren: Kimberly and Brad Richards of Jasper, AL and Kevin and Shellie Cartwright of Ava, IL; Six step great grandchildren; Sister: Evelyn Dierks and several nieces and nephews. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Chadderton and Vernon Chadderton, one sister, Dorothy Chadderton. She was a homemaker in her home. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Steeleville,IL and the Lutheran Women Missionary League (Blanket Makers). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday from 5-8 PM and then on Wednesday from 7:30 to 11am and then from noon till 1pm at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Association.
