CHESTER - Wilma L. Asbury, 72, of Chester, passed away at 2:45 pm, Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL. Wilma was born in Cora, IL, on July 3, 1940, the daughter of Fred B. and Elda E. Brunkhorst Childers. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester, IL. Wilma is survived by her children, Gary, Terry, Bonnie, Allen and Darrell all of Southeast Missouri; Lisa, Russell, Jr., Steven and Lori all of Chester, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Keeton, Sandra Baggett, and Carol Nagel; and brother Fred Childers, Jr. Wilma was preceded in death by her Parents; one grandson; one brother; and one sister. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 9 to 11 am Wednesday. Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the Family.
