Obituary
AVA – William L. Huffhine, 71, passed away at 1:10 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home in Ava, Illinois.
William was born on October 26, 1945, in East Saint Louis, Illinois, the son of William H. and Loretta Lewis Huffhine. He married Pamela S. Lybarger on August 14, 1965 at Piggott, Arkansas. William was a retired Printer/ Pressman for World Color Press in Sparta, and retired owner of Bill and Pam's Produce in Ava. He was a member of Crain Baptist Church in Ava, Illinois.
William is survived by his wife Pam Huffhine of Ava; children William (Lynn) Huffhine Jr. of Michigan, Sheila Ann (Dennis) Sawyer of Ava; two grandchildren Bradley Joseph Gogue, Dylan Michael Gogue; sister-in-law JoAnn Young of Chester; nephews Mark (Gayla) Bradley, Steve Bradley, Clifford Bradley, Fred (Debbie) Hammel; niece Susan (Jim) Brown; and cousins Fred (Ginny) Hayes.
William is preceded in death by his parents and two half-sisters.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Crain Baptist Church in Ava, Illinois with Rev. Tim Olson officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery in Ava. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home Ava where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm, Monday and 9 to 11 am Tuesday at the church.
