CUTLER – William Earl Fryer, 93, of Cutler, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home in Cutler, IL.
Earl was born October 31, 1928, in Cadiz, OH, to Earl and Leota Bowers Fryer. He married Norma Jean Garvin on September 14, 1951, in Ware County, GA, she passed in December of 1973. Earl then married Inez Jane Blair on October 3, 1974, in Steeleville, IL, she passed on July 23, 2020. Earl was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from Arch Mineral (Captain Mine). He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Ainad Shrine UMWA Local 1392. Earl enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing.
Earl is survived by his sons: Bill (Michelle) Fryer of Ellis Grove, IL, Jon Fryer of Percy, IL; stepdaughters: Debra Rohlfing of Percy, IL, Tammy (Bob) Franklin of Willisville, IL, Kim Davis of Percy, IL; eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Earl is also preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, an stepson Jackie Dean Mathis.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 20, 2021, at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Tim McIntyre officiating. Burial to follow.
