JACOB – William "Bill" D. Morgan, 75, of Jacob, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at DePaul Hospital, Bridgeton, Missouri.

Bill was born February 14, 1946, in Chester, IL, to James Daniel and Mary Jane Saul Morgan.  He married Loretta Korando on April 12, 1975, in Raddle, IL.  Bill was a retired farmer and enjoyed being around his grandchildren.  He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Alma Lodge #497 AF & AM, Steeleville, Murphysboro Lodge #498, Honorary Member Makanda Lodge, Former Grand Master District Deputy, Ainad Shrine, East St. Louis, IL, Jackson County Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Valley of Southern IL, Belleville, IL.  Bill drove the Amish and became very good friends with all of them.  He was also an avid coon hunter and Master of Hounds.

Bill is survived by his wife, Loretta Morgan of Jacob, IL, sons; Ryan (Genie) Morgan of Carbondale, IL, Justin (Kayla) Morgan of Campbell Hill, IL, grandchildren; Addilyn and Emmaleigh Morgan, Alex Wright and Kelly Wright, and his dog companion "Buster".

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, June 7, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, with Father Leo J. Hayes officiating.  Burial to follow at Glenn Cemetery, Rockwood.  Friends may call 4–7 pm, Sunday, June 6, 2021, Masonic Service to follow at 7 pm, and 7:30 – 10:30 am, Monday, June 7, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava. Memorials may be given to Shriner's Hospital for Children and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
