RED BUD – William Adolph Becker, 78, of Red Bud, passed away at 1:01 pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois.

William was born in St. Louis, MO, on May 5, 1944, the son of Hugh Edward and Alma V. Marshall Becker.  He married Diane K. Martin on July 25, 1964 at Percy, Illinois.  William was a Retired Machinist at Boeing after 30 years of Service.  He was a member of the Machinist Union.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

William is survived by his wife, Diane K. Becker of Red Bud, IL; children, Lisa (Eric) Marlinghaus of St. Louis, MO and Mark Becker of Washington, MO; grandchildren, Brooklyn Becker, Tia Marlinghaus and Ian Marlinghaus; and 3 great grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his Parents; and 3 siblings, Etta Mae Eaton, Edward Becker, and Louise Duvall.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 4 pm until 7 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville.  Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
