STEELEVILLE - William A. Bollmann, 76, of Steeleville, passed away at 1:40 am, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his home. William was born in Steeleville on December 1, 1935 the son of Alfons and Inez Deppe Bollmann. He was a retired sheet metal worker. He was a US Army veteran having served from 1958 - 1960. He was of the Lutheran Faith. William was a member of the sheet metal workers Local #268, Caseyville. He was an avid bowler and knife and gun collector. William is survived by his significant other, Pat Falkenhain of Steeleville; children, Jill (Robin) Biermann of Nashville, IL, Brian Bollmann of Jackson, MO, Lloyd (Carol) Bollmann of Steeleville, Michelle (John) Poenitske of Franklin, KY and Angela (Jeff) Rushing of Steeleville; grandchildren, Katelin, Andrew, Tanner, Erin, Jessie, Ryle & Eli; sister, Norma Jean (Harold) Harmsen of Steeleville; and brother, Robert (Lynette) Bollmann of Steeleville. William was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Marvin and Roy. Memorial service will be held at 7 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Officiant Julie Posth officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis.
