STEELEVILLE – Wanda Schnoeker, 83, of Steeleville passed away at 11:55 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital in Chester.

Wanda was born on August 12, 1934, in Sparta, the daughter of Bernard and Iva Pearl (Dunn) Mansker. She married Daniel L. Schnoeker on November 29, 1969, in Steeleville and they shared 24 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on April 2, 1994. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh.

Wanda is survived by 1 son; Daniel L. Schnoeker, of Hecker, 1 grandson; Graham D, Schnoeker, of Hecker, 1 sister – in – law; Mary Ann Mansker, of St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, October 13, 2017, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Walsh, with Rev. Harold W. Weber officiating, and burial will follow at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 2 PM, Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church "Ladies Aid". Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville.
