CUTLER, Wanda L. Neubauer, 85, of Cutler, passed away at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, September 27, 2009, at her home in Cutler, IL. She was born April 25, 1924 in Christopher, Illinois the daughter of Charles Webb and Laura (Elrod) Webb. Wanda married Oakley Neubauer in 1953 at Christopher, Illinois. Wanda worked as a buyer for J. C. Penny Co. she was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL. Remember me like I was and not like I am today. She is survived by her husband Oakley Neubauer of Cutler, Illinois, and one son: Byron Neubauer of Cutler, IL; one sister: June Collins of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke of St. Marks's Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will be at Harrison Cemetery in Buckner, Illinois. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm and then on Thursday from 7:30 to 11am at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
