WILLISVILLE, Walter Lee (Bill) Kelley, 74, of Willisville, passed away at 6:10 A.M. Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, IL. He was born January 10, 1934 in Creal Springs, Illinois the son of Gussie L. Kelley and Delia (Ollis) Kelley. He married Dorothy Futter Jamiet on July 12, 1973 in Paducah, KY. Bill was retired from Captian coal mine where, he worked for 29 years. Mr. Kelley was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Willisville, IL, the B.B.K. American Legion Post #480 of Steeleville, IL, the VFW in Creal Springs, IL, and the U.M.W. of A. Local #1392 in Percy. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Kelley of Willisville, IL, children: Linda Brunell of St. Louis, MO, Allen R. Kelley of Dalhart, TX, DeWayne L. Kelley of Carterville, IL, Debra A. Kempher of Coulterville, IL, Patricia L. Bradshaw of Cutler, IL; grandchildren: Autumn Bear, Stephanie Kelley, Jeremy Kempher, Matthew Kelley, Justin Kempher, Joseph Kempher, Nicholas Kelley, Andrew Kelley, Melyssa Bradshaw, Christopher Kelley; He is also survived by his loving great grandchildren: Ravyn Bear, Garrett Kempher and Erin Kempher;sister: Opal L. Mayer of Creal Springs, IL Bill will be greatly missed by his family that he loved and who loved him. He served in the U.S. Navy during Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Lowell L. Kelley Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 17, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy. Rev. Tim McIntyre will be officiating. Burial will be at Coulterville City Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy where friends may call from 6-8 pm on Tuesday and then on Wednesday from 7:30 until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
