AVA, Virginia Poole, 83, of Ava, passed away at 9:05 P.M. Monday, November 23, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. She was born October 6, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Dan Osburn and Myrtle (Carlyle) Osburn. Virginia married Alfred Poole. She is survived by her four daughters: Freida Easton Schreck and Sandra Bower Cox both of Springfield, IL, Peggy Hines of Murphysboro, IL and Dawn Seyferth Reuscher of Evansville, IN. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and long time much loved companion Kent Holiday of Ava, IL and his family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred Poole, son, Timothy Wayne, two brothers, Bill and Bob Osburn. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. James Easton will be officiating. Burial will be at Glenn Cemetery in Jacob, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Friday from 10-Noon In Lieu of flowers, friends may make a memorial donation to the family to defray funeral expenses.
