GORHAM - Virginia M. Morgan, 83, of Gorham passed away at 9:58 am, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro, IL. Virginia was born in Steel, MO on September 16, 1929, the daughter of Walter and Jennie Yarbrough McCarver. She married Floyd E. Morgan on May 2, 1948 at Lusk Chapel, Missouri. She was of the Methodist faith and was a Homemaker. Virginia is survived by her husband, Floyd E. Morgan of Murphysboro; two children, Kathy (Jackie) Stueve of Ava and Kenneth (MaryAnn) Morgan of North Liberty, IN; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce Hardin of Dudley, MO. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister; one sister, Elsie Dugan; one infant granddaughter and infant twin great granddaughters. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Jonathon Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Glenn Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Memorials may be given to the Methodist Church in Grand Tower, IL.
