PERCY – Victor R. Morrison, 73, of Percy, passed away at 9:00 pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home in Percy.

Victor was born in Sparta, Illinois on December 26, 1942, the son of Victor R. and Marquerite McKinley Morrison, Sr.   He married Frances W. Campbell on October 25, 1975 in Granite City, IL.  She passed away April 24, 2015.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.  He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Menard Correctional Center in Chester.

Victor is survived by his children, Victor R. Morrison III of Collinsville, IL, Larry Morrison of Pinckneyville, IL, Shelly Phelps of Bethalto, IL, Michael Morrison of Percy, IL, Blenda Glander of Pinckneyville, IL, Cassie Rose of Percy, IL, Nanette Johnson of Ellis Grove, IL and Vinnie Morrison of Murphysboro, IL; 23 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother: Rick Morrison of Amarillo, TX; sisters: Patty Wilson of Houston, TX, Pam Purkaple of Texico, IL and Mary Ann Morrison of Irene, SD.

Victor was preceded in death by his Parents; two brothers; and one grandson, Thomas Scott Morrison.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy with Rev. Greg Sutter officiating.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Percy, where friends may call from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday.  Memorials may be given to the family.
