Obituary
PERCY – Vicky L. Haslett, 65, of Percy passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at her home in Percy.
Vicky was born on May 21, 1953, in West Lebanon, Indiana, the daughter of John and Anna Jean (Hopkins) VanPelt. She married Benjamin E. Haslett, on November 21, 1974, in Danville, Illinois. Vicky worked as a social worker at the Coulterville Care Center, and was a member of the Tri-County First Pentecostal Church, in Cutler.
Vicky is survived by her husband; Benjamin E. Haslett, of Percy, 1 son; Johnny Haslett, of Greenville, Illinois, 1 daughter; Shannon Blessing, of Gary, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, she is also survived by 3 sisters; Patty, Luella, and Linda.
Mrs. Haslett, was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sons; Travis, and Shane.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at the Percy Village Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Jackson officiating, burial will follow. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to a Love Fund for the Family. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with arrangements.
