STEELEVILLE – Tyler Bradley, 54, of Steeleville, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.

Tyler was born April 8, 1971, in Sparta, IL, the son of Clifford R. and Gwendolyn J. (Griffiths) Bradley. He married Kristie Kranz on September 28, 1991, at Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville, IL. Tyler retired from Illinois Department of Corrections, Menard, IL, as a Counselor. He was a member of Steeleville Baptist Church, where he was active in church affairs, teaching Sunday school, choir, and served as a Deacon. Tyler had been a strong member since the age of 12. He enjoyed bible study, traveling on cruises, spending time with his family, watching movies and dining out.

Tyler is survived by his wife, Kristie Bradley of Steeleville, IL, his children: Katlyn (Justin) Derringer of Rockwood, IL, Lane Bradley of Steeleville, IL, Dr. Rachel Bradley, RPH of Steeleville, IL; his father, Clifford R. Bradley, Sr. of Steeleville, IL, his brother, Clifford R. (Michelle) Bradley, Jr. of Steeleville, IL, his mother-in-law, Karen Kranz of Chester, IL, his brother-in-law, Jay (Amy) Kranz of Chester, IL, his sister-in-law, Andrea (Mike) Baughman, Jr. of Chester, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

Tyler was preceded in death by his mother, G. Jean Bradley and father-in-law, Clark Kranz.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 1:00 pm, at Steeleville Baptist Church, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Jared Pemper officiating. Burial to follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be Saturday morning, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service at the church.
