STEELEVILLE – Toni J. Craig, 72, of Steeleville, passed away at 11:45 pm, Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois.

Toni was born in Pomona, California on November 25, 1943, the daughter of Ernest and Maletta Pietz Stevens.  She married Samuel A. Craig on November 17, 1964 in West Covina, California, he preceded her in death on May 28, 1999.   Toni was a homemaker.  Toni was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville.  She was active in various church organizations.

Toni is survived by her son, James (Sherry) Craig of Sparta, her daughter, Jolene (Michael) Huseman of Campbell Hill; grandchildren, Taylor, Brooke and Lee Craig and Mitchell (and fiancée Alexa Creech) Huseman and Brennen Huseman; one sister, Jan Cariato of Norco, CA.

Toni was also preceded in death by her Parents; one brother and one sister.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Julie Posth, Parish Ministry Assistant officiating.  Burial will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Steeleville.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville on Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church from 9:30 am until 10:30 am.  Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
