CHESTER, Timothy D. Burris, 58, of Chester, passed away at 3:20 PM Friday, April 18, 2014, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, Illinois. He was born February 15, 1956 in Chester, Illinois the son of Harold and Doris (Moose) Burris. Timothy was a maintenance engineer at Memorial Hospital of Chester. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Timothy was of the Lutheran Faith. He was a member of the Alva Courier Post 487 American Legion in Chester, the Eagles Aerie #3252 in Chester and the Chester Boat Club. He is survived by his sister, Rae (Larry) Stortz and family of Perryville, MO; Special Friend, Cathy of Chester; Step Children and grandchildren, Jessica, Zoey, Ben, Jeff, Kristen, Trey, Domonic, Braydon, Navaeh, Jay Jay and Emma, all of Chester and Tasha, Greg & Lora of Evansville. He is survived by everyone at Chester Memorial Hospital, close friends: Jamie & Julie and everyone at Camp Lake A lot. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many more friends. Timothy is preceded in death by his parents. Timothy wishes were for cremation and a private service will follow at a later date.
