AVA, Therese I Gallagher, 82, of Ava, passed away at 12:30 A.M. Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Rehab and Care Center in Murphysboro, IL. She was born September 06, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of William Davis and Emma (Coughlin) Davis. She was a member of the Santa Maria Incarnata Santa Lucia Catholic Church in Chicago and was a retired waitress. Therese is survived by her children, Paul Blaney of Murphysboro, IL, Nancy (Bruce) Webster of Calgary, Robert (Tina) Tindall of Littleton, CO, and Christine Gallagher of Chicago, IL; eleven grandchildren, David, Angela, John, Michael, Brian, Kelly, Richard, Debra, Robert, Jennifer and Nicholes; several great grandchildren; and one brother, Richard (Freida) Coughlin of Ormond Beach, FL. Therese was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Mickey (Michael) Piccolo and Marilyn Szeman; and her beloved canine friend, Maggie. Due to Therese's request, cremation will take place and a memorial mass will be held at a later date in the Chicago area. Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, is in charge of local arrangements.
