CAMPBELL HILL – Terry L. Misselhorn, 70, of Campbell Hill, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at home.

Terry was born in Murphysboro, Illinois, on July 24, 1953, the son of Norman H. and Laverna E. Gerlach Misselhorn. He married LaVerne Nitzsche Fryer on December 27, 2002 at Steeleville Methodist Church. He was a retired Welder from Menard Correctional Center. Terry was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill and Alma Lodge #497 AF & AM, Steeleville. He was retired from Campbell Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

Terry is survived by his wife, LaVerne Misselhorn of Campbell Hill; son, Neal (Lacy Palmer) Misselhorn of Campbell Hill; step children, Scott (Kari) Fryer of Fenton, MO, Tracy Fryer of Murfreesboro, TN and Stephanie (Adam) Tope of Campbell Hill; grandson, Landen Misselhorn; step grandchildren, Caleb and Madison Fryer, Lily Fryer, and Nora and Mabrie Tope; brothers-in-law, Curt Nitzsche of Ellis Grove, IL and Carl Nitzsche of Ellis Grove; and sister-in-law, Linda Rader of Chester.

Terry is preceded in death by his Parents; one daughter, Amy; and one sister, Beverly.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, with Minister Deb Rathert officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call on Tuesday from 6 pm until 8 pm, then on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 9 am, then from 10 am until 11 am at the church.
