PERCY, Terry R. Hickam, 59, of Percy, passed away at 6:00 AM Friday, December 20, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, Illinois. He was born August 9, 1954 in Anna, Illinois the son of Clyde and Georgia (Williams) Hickam. Terry married Katherine Province on May 18, 1973 in Perryville, Missouri . Terry was a retired Correctional Officer from Menard Penitentiary in Chester, Illinois. He is survived by his: wife: Katherine Hickam, Percy, IL; 2 sons: Franklin (Regina) Hickam, Cutler, IL and Michael (Ali) Hickam, Steeleville, IL; 6 Grandchildren: Katherine Hickam, April Hickam, Abigail Hickam, Chloe Hickam, Seth Hickam, and Josie Hickam; 2 Great Grandchildren: Vincent Phelps and Owen Phelps; 1 Sister: Judy (Joe) Alvey, Dardanelle, Arkansas. Terry is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Doris Illig. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Percy, Illinois with Rev. Harry Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy on Saturday where friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 7:30am until 1pm. Memorials may be made to the family.
