AVA, Teri Ann Grizzell, 51, of Ava, passed away at 2:15 P.M. Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at her home in Ava, IL. Teri was born October 22, 1957 in Carbondale, Illinois the daughter of Everet C. Goddard and Judith A. (Elliott) Goddard. She married Marshall A. Grizzell on August 4, 1990 in Ava, IL. Teri was a Seamstress. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church (Post Oak), Campbell Hill, IL and the Quilter Guild at St. John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Marshall A. Grizzell of Ava; her parents, Everet and Judy Goddard of Ava; three sisters, Lyn Bame of Murphysboro, IL, Lori Dammerman of Ava and Lisa Quillman of Ava; and nine nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak in Campbell Hill with Rev. Kathryn Bielfeldt officiating. Burial will follow Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the H.B. Vancil Community Center in Ava on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm and on Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church (Post Oak) Campbell Hill, IL from 9 to 10 am.
