CAMPBELL HILL, Ted Wolfe, Sr., 85, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 22, 2010, at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, IL. Ted was born in Simpson, Il on August 6, 1925 the son of Joe & Nellie Uravis Wolfe. He was a member of the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was retired from the Operators Engineers. Ted was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church (Post Oak); Local #520 Operators Engineers, Mitchell, IL; and Modern Woodman. Ted is survived by one son, Ted Wolfe, Jr. of Campbell Hill; two grandchildren, Ginna & Josh Wolfe; one step son, Ronald Eggemeyer; three sisters, Ruth Knop of Willisville, Martha Halterman of Cambria, IL and Bessie Mueller of Los Angeles, CA. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Post Oak. Ted Wolfe will be missed by family and friends. He was many things to many people. So say a prayer, raise a glass, a good man has passed. Amen.
