STEELEVILLE – Suzanne Pierce, 99, of Steeleville, IL, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab, Pinckneyville, Illinois.
Suzanne was born on January 1, 1927, in Chisa Corcisa, France, to Pierre and Francoise Cesari Falliard. She married John Pierce on May 18, 1946, in Roquoc, France, he preceded her in death on April 8, 2001. Suzanne was a Homemaker and a member of Steeleville Methodist Church, Steeleville Senior Citizens and AARP.
Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Linda M. (Roy) Miller of Pinckneyville, IL, her son, James R. (Debbie) Pierce of Caledonia, MO, her grandchildren: Sara AJ Allan, Audra Suzanne Ahne, Christopher Pierce, Anthony Pierce; her grandchildren: Avery (Adel) Pierce, Nyla Pierce, Abi Pierce, Rebecca Jefferson, Brandon Dean Ferrari, Kayla Conner and JD Conner; her great grandson arriving soon, John Henry Pierce, her great great grandson, Sebastian “Bash” Bradley, and her brother, Pierre Falliard of Bradenton, FL.
Suzanne was also preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Francine A. “Frani” Pierce.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, 11:00 am, at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Roy Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be Friday morning where friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Steeleville Methodist Church and can be mailed to Wilson’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
