STEELEVILLE – Stacy Goetting, 55, of Steeleville passed away at 6:30 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2019, at her brother's home in Pinckneyville.

Stacy was born on October 8, 1963, in Chester the daughter of Carl L. and L. Maxine (Waltemate) Goetting. She worked at Chester Mental Health and was of the Lutheran Faith. Stacy was an avid golfer and Cardinals baseball fan, she was the superintendent of several area golf courses over the years, and she really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Stacy is survived by her mother; Maxine Goetting, of Sparta, brothers; Mark (Susie) Goetting, of Chester, Todd (Cindy) Goetting, of Sidney, Illinois, Jody (Deb) Goetting, of Pinckneyville, Jay (Angela) Goetting, of Rochester, Minnesota, special friend; Minta Res, of Chester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and of course her beloved dog; Bandit.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning where friends may call from 9 to 11 AM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois Blue-West.
