Obituary

STEELEVILLE – Sharon Vallett, 59, of Steeleville, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri.

Sharon was born in Red Bud, Illinois, on July 12, 1961, the daughter of Charles H. and Ruth Jean Schroeder Tiller.  She married Greg Vallett on April 15, 1978, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Chester.  Sharon was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville and was on Various Church Committees.  She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, B.B.K. American Legion Auxiliary Post #480, Steeleville and the Steeleville Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #3960.  Sharon was a Homemaker, Owner and Operator of Sharon's Heart of Gold for 17 years, and a cook at St. Mark's Lutheran School.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Greg Vallett of Steeleville; son, Jason (Celine) Vallett of Steeleville; daughter, Julie (Joe) Wickwire of Steeleville; grandchildren, Daisy (Cadin Patterson) Vallett, Colin Vallett and Jace Owen Wickwire; mother, Ruth J. Tiller of Steeleville; sister, Jeri (Burt) Chandler of Newbern, TN; sister-in-law, Pam Tiller of Chester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her Father and One Brother, Charles Ray.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 31, 2020, at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, with Rev. Mark Harris officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School.  By executive order, face masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
