STEELEVILLE - Scott A. Bockhorn, 53, of Steeleville, passed away at 11:15 pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital in Chester. Scott was born in Sparta, Illinois on April 3, 1961, the son of Robert K. and Sally A. Rednour Bockhorn. He married Lesa S. Tedder on May 28, 1995 in Sun Lakes, Arizona. Scott was employed by World Color Press, Inc. and for the last 17 years worked for Southwest Airlines. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville; Sons of American Legion B.B.K. Post #480, Steeleville, IL and Steeleville Eagles Aries #3960. Scott is survived by his wife, Lesa Bockhorn of Steeleville; his parents, Bob and Sally Bockhorn of Steeleville; his brother, Brad Bockhorn of Steeleville; and two uncles, Gene Rednour of Steeleville and Danny Bockhorn of Effingham, IL; and his aunt, Barbara Ladwig of Red Bud, IL. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville with S. Blake Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville on Monday where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Monday and on Tuesday from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to the Memorial Fund at Peace Lutheran Church.
