AVA, Sandra Arline Popejoy, 66, of Ava, passed away at 2:18 P.M. Friday, March 12, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. Arline was born December 04, 1943 in Anna, Illinois the daughter of Arlie Edward Miller and Margaret Nadine (Thomas) Miller. She married William "Bud" Popejoy on September 21, 1962 in Murphysboro, IL. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Crain Baptist Church, Ava. Arline is survived by her husband, William "Bud" Popejoy of Ava, IL; her son, Greg (Vicki) Popejoy of Ava, IL and her daughter, Kim (Robert) Kranawetter of Ava, IL; grandchildren, Madison, Marisa & Macy Kranawetter, Jessica McCormick, and William & Wyatt Popejoy; two sisters, Margaret Simmons and Vicki Genovese both of Murphysboro, IL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Gilbert Gee officiating. Burial will follow at Bower Cemetery, Ava, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Monday from 6 to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 7:30 am until 11 am. Memorials may be made to Crain Baptist Church, Ava.
