Obituary

WILLISVILLE – Ryan L. Haury, 39, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at his home in Willisville, Illinois.

Ryan was born July 6, 1986, in Sparta, IL to Michael and Kathryn Rhodes Haury. He was an Auto Prep Technician at Byrd’s Auto Body, Percy, IL. Ryan was a member of Three Nail Fitness in Steeleville, IL.

Ryan was an amazing, kindhearted, special young man. Our life will not be the same without him. He lived a full life in his 39 years, always so busy. Ryan worked hard and he loved his family immensely. Ryan and Jen were together for 22 years and had two beautiful children together, Kaden and Raelynn, of which he adored. He worked at Byrds and loved his employers and worked hard to provide a good life for his family; he did just that. Ryan loved and cared for all of his friends and his pets were his family. He didn’t know a stranger. His heart was huge. Ryan was the most amazing and wonderful son a parent could ask for. His parents were so proud of the young man he had grown into. He was an amazing brother to his siblings; Eric, Austin and Ashley, he loved them fiercely and was their biggest cheerleader in everything they did. Ryan adored all of his nephews and nieces and was so good with them, they loved Uncle Ryan.

Ryan lived with his heart on his sleeve and that’s why everyone loved him, he was true as the day was long. A wonderful person to meet. He spent a lot of his days working and cleaning up his truck and car getting them ready for the Car Shows, he just loved doing that with his son Kaden. It brought him so much joy doing this and going to the gym and working out daily. He really took his work out regime seriously and did this with is son also. He was always with his kids; he was an amazing father. Raelynn was his baby girl, oh how he loved taking her to the Father/Daughter Dances. He was so proud of his children.

Many people didn’t know Ryan was quite the artist, growing up and now. Just a God given talent. He was really talented! Maybe a little came from Grandma Zib Haury, but boy could he draw. He also was a Christian man, he loved God and he believed in our Lord Jesus Christ and his heart was pure and it showed in everything he did.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Jenifer Creech and his children, Kaden and Raelynn, of Willisville, IL, his father, Michael (Margie) Haury of St. Peters, MO, his mother, Kathy Brenning of Sparta, IL, his siblings: Eric Brenning of Sparta, IL, Austin Brenning of Bellville, IL, Ashley (Braden) Watt of Tilden, IL; his nieces and nephews: Josie Hickam, Ezra Dagner, Benjamin Williams, Owen Brenning, Austin Brenning, Parker Watt, Paisley Watt; Cobie Moore, Khloe Liter, Jaynee Creech; his father-in-law, Edward (Meta) Creech of Willisville, IL, his grandmothers: Elizabeth Haury of Sparta, IL and Linda Florreich of Sparta, IL; sisters-in-law, Rachel Williams and Elizabeth Creech; and brother-in-law, Bradly Creech.
