WILLISVILLE, Ruth Marie Throop, born January 29, 1940 in Ava, Illinois, passed away January 22, 2017 in Chester Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ina Easton, her daughter, Kathryn Gilbert, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Ruth is survived by her husband, John Throop of Willisville, her son Victor Throop of Jacksonville, Florida, her daughter, Meta Creech and son-in-law, Ed Creech of Willisville, son Jason Throop and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Throop of West Point, Mississippi and sister, Julie Combs of Warrenton, Missouri.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren:  Jessica (Kilpatrick) Congiardo and husband, Chris of Perryville, Missouri; Jeffrey Kilpatrick of Imperial, Missouri; Matthew Throop of Willisville, Illinois; Zane Ward of Kileen, Texas; Elizabeth Creech of Willisville, Illinois; Jennifer Creech of Willisville, Illinois; Rachael Williams of Steeleville, Illinois; Brad Creech of Cutler, Illinois; Abe Finley of West Point, Mississippi and Felicia Finley of West Point, Mississippi and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Throop wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services held.
