STEELEVILLE - Ruth E. Rees, 62, of Steeleville, passed away at 10:02 pm, Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, Illinois. Ruth was born on September 20, 1951 in Sparta, Illinois, the daughter of William E. and Nellie Blanch Deppe Rees. Ruth was of the Protestant Faith. Ruth was survived by one brother, Bill (Lori) Rees of Red Bud, IL; one sister, Deb (Ed) Tope of Shelbyville, IL; one nephew, Shawn Tope; three nieces, Dana Manship, Ashley Rednour, Brooke Rees; four great nieces; six great nephews; one great great nephew; and one great great niece. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Ron Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, Illinois. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 11 am until 1 pm Saturday. Memorials may be given to the Down's Syndrome Foundation.
