CUTLER - Ruth A. Keller, 71 of Cutler passed away at 6:45 am, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. Ruth was born in Vergennes, IL on April 22, 1940 the daughter of Joseph and Anna Mae Stafford Davis. She married Joe Dean Keller on December 24, 1955 in Cutler. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1993. Ruth was retired from MCA in Pinckneyville, IL. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Ruth is survived by daughter, Phyllis Jane Creech of Cutler; sons, Kevin Lynn Keller of Cutler, Joseph Michael Keller of Cutler and Bruce Allen Keller of Cutler; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Samuel J. Davis of DuQuoin, IL, Eddie J. Davis of Mount Carmel, IL and Ted Davis of DeSoto, IL; and sister, Mayetta Campanella of DuQuoin. Ruth was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Loretta Elbrecht. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Pastor Gerald Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 7:30 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be given to a love fund for the family.
