PINCKNEYVILLE - Ruby Pearl Quillman, 79, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 10:09 am on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Pinckneyville Healthcare in Pinckneyville, Illinois. Ruby was born on January 30, 1935, the daughter of James and Elsie Patterson Farris. She married Marion Lavern Quillman on June 18, 1951 in Steeleville. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2002. Ruby is survived by one son, Robert Quillman of Pinckneyville; three daughters-in-law, Trienna Quillman of Sikeston, MO, Cathy Quillman of Ruma, IL, Chris Quillman of Pinckneyville; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly James of Wayne City, IL and Ethel Gilman of Christopher, IL; and two brothers, Dean Farris of Piedmont, MO and Bill Farris of Piedmont, MO. Ruby was preceded in death by her Parents; four sons, Mikael, Jeffrey, Dennis and Gary; and six siblings. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church in Sparta with Rev. Tom Foster, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick, IL. Visitation will be at Loyalty Baptist Church on Tuesday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Memorials may be given to the Funeral Home for Expenses.
