CUTLER – Roy "Jinx" Miller, 81, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at his home in Cutler, Illinois

Roy was born on July 22, 1943, in Coulterville, IL, the son of Frank W. and Florence (Holman) Miller. He married Jo Deane Gaston on March 1, 1969, in Pinckneyville, IL. Roy was a farmer and was of the Protestant faith. He loved spending time gardening, and with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family.

Roy is survived by his wife Jo Deane Miller of Cutler, IL, his children: Lonnie (Sue) Miller of Cutler, IL, Morris (Donna) Miller of Willisville, IL, Starlet Howie of Cutler, IL, Danielle Miller of Jackson, MO; his grandchildren: Aaron Miller, Adam (Shelby) Miller, Adison Miller, Wendy (Blake) Glodo, Alden Miller, Bradley Miller, Bryant Miller, Mykaleigha Miller, Cory Miller, Matt (Chelsie) Miller, Zach (Cierra) Miller; great grandchildren: Baylee, Wyatt, Avery, Anden, Brayden, Bryce, Braylyn, Dalston, Aurora, Huxlee, Erina; his brothers: Kenneth (Karen) Miller of Steeleville, IL, Ronald (Tammy) Miller of Cutler, IL; his sisters Patsy Spann of Pittsfield, IL and Teet (Roy) Conway of Cutler, IL.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kevin "Bub" Miller, brothers: Vernon, Frank, Merle, Quetin, sisters: Lavonne, Wanda, Sheryl; brothers-in-law: Jack Hardy, Lyle Spann; sisters-in-law: Annie, Juanita, and Martha.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, 1:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Curt Rabe officiating. Burial to follow at Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of the service.
