PERCY – Roxie Hewerdine, 73, of Percy, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her home in Percy, Illinois.

Roxie was born November 3, 1947 in Murphysboro, IL, to Herman and Mathilda (Haberman) Wedemeyer.  Roxie was of the Lutheran faith and had retired from World Color Press in Sparta, IL.

Roxie is survived by her sons; Aaron Smith of Percy, IL and Brian Hewerdine of Knoxville, TN, nine grandchildren, five siblings; Ray Wedemeyer of Steeleville, IL, Harvey Wedemeyer of Chester, IL, Mardell Krull of Sparta, IL, Fern Meyerhoff of Percy, IL and Violet Wettig of Percy, IL.

Roxie is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Adrina Smith.

Roxie's wishes were for Cremation and a private service will be at a later time.  Memorials may be given to Steeleville Senior Center and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
