SWANWICK - Rose L. Robb, 86, of Swanwick, Illinois, passed away at home with her loving family and friends at 4:42 pm, Friday, April 4, 2014. Rose was born in Perry County, Illinois on June 8, 1927, the daughter of Steve and Ella Hoelscher Casetta. She married William C. Robb on April 21, 1946 in Marks, Mississippi. Rose graduated from Sparta High School. She was a homemaker and she assisted on the family farm. Rose was a member of the Swanwick Presbyterian Church, the Missionary Society, Choir, and Sunday School Teacher all at the church. She was also a 4-H Leader. Rose is survived by her husband, William C.(Bill) Robb of Swanwick; two children, William G.(Bill) Robb of Swanwick, Susan Robb McIntyre of Yale, OK; four grandchildren, Marcy Robb (Jason) Edwards of Auburn, IL, Shon (Rebecca) McIntyre of Farmington, MN, Travis (Ricky) McIntyre of Yale, OK, and Joshua (Torri) McIntyre of Jones, OK; seven great grandchildren, Hunter, Hadly, Harper, Levi, Sophie, Parker and Pacey McIntyre; and two sisters, Roberta (Lawrence) Jany of Chester and Nedra (Donald) Jany of Chester. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Sue Robb; one sister, Harriet (Sam) Campanella and one brother, Donald (Dorothy) Casetta. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Swanwick Presbyterian Church in Swanwick, IL with Pastor Shon McIntyre and Pastor Tim McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm to 8 pm Monday and on Tuesday from Noon until 1 pm at the church. Memorials may be given to Swanwick Presbyterian Church.
