STEELEVILLE – Rose M. Brenning, 91, of Steeleville passed away at 9:36 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at her home in Steeleville.
Rose was born on February 6, 1925 in Marissa, IL the daughter of Fred and Mary (Fett) Sinn. Rose married Henry W. Brenning, Jr. on December 15, 1956 in Marissa and they shared 32 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on December 31, 1988. Rose retired from the American Device MFG, in Steeleville and owned and operated Brenning Sunoco in Steeleville. Rose was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville and the B.B.K. American Legion Auxiliary Post #480 in Steeleville.
Rose is survived by her daughter; Lou Ann (Keith) Patton of Sparta. She is also survived by one brother; Corvin Sinn of Marissa, IL.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, and one infant son; Michael.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Rev. Kelly C. Bedard officiating, burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 8 to 10 AM at the church. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society.
