CAMPBELL HILL – Rosalie M. "Rosie" Rathert, 88, of Campbell Hill passed away at 7:49 AM, Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the Three Springs Lodge in Chester.
Rosalie was born on December 5, 1929, in Campbell Hill the daughter of Arnold Sr. and Irene (Moureau) Thies. She married Howard Paul Rathert on June 25, 1950 at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill and they shared 33 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on September 17, 1983. Rosie was a homemaker and a retired custodian for the First State Bank of Campbell Hill, and the Immanuel Lutheran Church West Point. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church West Point and the West Point Ladies Aid, Campbell Hill American Legion Auxiliary Post #1096, and an honorary member of the Trico FFA Chapter.
Mrs. Rathert is survived by her children; Dale (Rhonda) Rathert, of St. Peter's, Missouri, Randall (Debra) Rathert, of Campbell Hill, and Cathy (Richard) Feyerabend, of Perryville, Missouri, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church West Point, with Rev. Sean R. Smith officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Thursday from 7:30 to 9 AM at the funeral home and from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Memorials may made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church West Point.
