Murphysboro – Rosalea M. "Rose" Clough, 84, of Murphysboro, IL, passed away at 9:22pm, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL

Rose was born on July 27, 1937, in Willisville, IL, to Martin and Rosalie Bellecia Giordano. She married William Clough on October 23, 1979 in Ava IL, he preceded her in death on October 13, 2007.  Rose was a payroll clerk at Cal Crest Jacket Factory for 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Willisville, IL. She was also a life member at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Altar Sodality, and previously delivered Meals on Wheels.

Rosalea is survived by her sister Carolyn Giordano of Murphysboro, IL; Several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; great great nieces and great great nephews, that include Chris McRoy, Cathy Crane, Chelle Sarensen, Michelle Giordano of Michigan, and Lisa Telleg of San Jose, CA.

Rose is also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Martin Jr, and Frank Giordano, 4 sisters Ann Riggio, Angie Grove, Frances McRoy, and Marie Giordano.

Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, where friends may call from 1-3 pm Thursday, June 9, 2022. Interment will be held at later date at Saint Andrews Catholic Cemetery in Murphysboro. The preferred form of remembrance are memorials to be given to Hospice of Southern IL, and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. 277, Ava, IL, 62907.
