WALSH, Ronald D. Kloth, 80, of Walsh, passed away at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois. He was born July 5, 1933 in Schuline, Illinois the son of Otto and Violet (Schultz) Kloth. Ronald married Joan M. Stellhorn on February 11, 1956 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baldwin, IL. Ron was a retired Farmer and Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a P.F.C. in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Ron was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the American Legion in Sparta, IL. He is survived by his wife: Joan M. Kloth, Walsh, IL; Son and Daughter in law, Dean (Laura) Kloth, Red Bud, IL; 2 Daughters and Sons in law, Nancy (Ronald) Kellerman, Pinckneyville, IL and Tina (Christopher) Kern, Sparta, IL; 7 Grandchildren, Leslie (Keith) Wolter, Ashley Kloth, Jamie (Jeremy) Wildermuth, Lindsey Kellerman, Joel Kern, Katie Kern and Jon Kern; 1 Great Grandchild, Brook Wolter; 1 Brother, Lauren Kloth, Columbia, IL; 1 Sister, Maydell (Ronald) Lessen, Mt. Morris, IL and many nieces and nephews. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, 2 Grandchildren, Corey Kloth and Audrey Kellerman and 2 Brothers, Kenneth Kloth and George Kloth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, with Rev. Marvin "Bud" Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 7:30 to 10:00am. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
