PINCKNEYVILLE - Ronald Dale Hughes, 66, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Ronald was born on June 27, 1959, in California, the son of Frances and Mary (Porter) Hughes. He married Jackie Smith on August 17, 2017. Ronald was retired from Gilster Mary Lee.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Jackie Hughes of Pinckneyville, IL, his children: Tim Queen of Pinckneyville, IL and Tiffany Harding of Oklahoma; his 8 grandchildren, his father and stepmother, Frances and Katherine Hughes, of Sparta, IL, several siblings and nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Porter, his brother, Jimmie Hughes and his sister, Dawn Hughes.

Ronald's wishes were for Body Donation to Science, and a Celebration of Life will be held on August 9, 2025, at The New Garden, Eden, IL.
