SESSER – Ronald A. Cross, Jr., 48, of Sesser, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Ronald was born in Chester, Illinois, on October 28, 1974, the son of Ronald A. and Priscilla Wisely Cross. He married Rebecca Wolfe on July 1, 1998 in Murphysboro. Ron was a Manufacturing Systems Manager at Continental Tire.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Becky Cross of Sesser; two daughters, Erin (Charlie) Casey of Sesser and Jordan (Fiancee, Kyle Gares) Cross of Sesser; grandchildren, Garhett, Kendall and Reagan Casey; son, Dheeraj (Ankita) Nayyar and their son, Kaden, all of Rodchester Hills, Michigan; sister, Laura (Michael) Smith of Benton; niece, Breauna (Tony) Niekes of Christopher; sister-in-law, Holly (Mark Lehnhoff) Wolfe of Percy; nephew, DJ Duty of Percy; sister-in-law, Kim (Larry) Cross of Ava; and nephew and niece, whom were like his own children, Brad (Rebekah) Cross and their daughter, Tessa of Rockwood and Kendra Cross of Ava.

Ronald was preceded in death by his Parents; stepdad, Gary Jatho; and Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, James and Doris Wolfe.

Ronald's wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to a Scholarship Fund for his grandchildren and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
