STEELEVILLE – Roger (Breezy) D. Krantz, 85, of Steeleville, our loving husband, father, and grandfather went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Roger was born March 31, 1936, in Chester, IL, to Floyd and Frieda Schutte Krantz. He married Catherine M. Hubert on August 27, 1960, in Steeleville, IL. Roger served in the U.S. Army for two years and was retired from World Color Press, Sparta. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, and a charter member of the Steeleville Eagles Aerie #3960.

Roger is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Krantz of Steeleville, children: Terrin Krantz of Champaign/Urbana, IL, Sandra (Kevin) Prange of Steeleville, IL, Kerry (Juli) Krantz of Champaign/Urbana, IL, six grandchildren: Tara (Scott) Conder, Krista (Bryce) Falaster, Lorren and Ava Krantz, Marcus and Isaac Krantz, and three great grandchildren.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Delores.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, with Reverend Matt Helfrich officiating. Burial to follow.
