PERCY- Roger L. Kempfer, 74, of Percy, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.

Roger was born on July 17, 1951, the son of James C. and Letha L. Kitterman Kempfer. He retired from Gilster Mary Lee. Roger was a member of the First Baptist Church, Percy.

Roger is survived by one brother Paul Kempfer of Percy, IL: sisters Shirley Wydeck of Sparta, IL, Loretta (Rick) Fuhrhop of Carthage, NC, Norma Brown of St. Mary's, OH, and Jackie (Mike) Chamness of DeSoto, IL.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy with Rev. Stephen Duncan officiating. Visitation will be held at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy IL Thursday, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Memorials may be given to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
