STEELEVILLE - Roger L. Fedderke, 80, of Steeleville, passed away at 9:02 am, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital in Chester. Roger was born in Campbell Hill, Illinois on December 3, 1934, the son of William and Estella Poenitske Fedderke. He married Ruth Ann Schwenke on October 4, 1958 in Bremen, Illinois. Roger was retired from Spartan Printing and he was a Farmer. He was a US Army veteran having served from 1956-1958. Roger was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bremen, a Sunday School Teacher and he was a former Steeleville School Board member. Roger is survived by his wife, Ruth Fedderke of Steeleville, IL; sons, Mark Fedderke of Steeleville, Michael (Michelle) Fedderke of Richmond, TX, and David (April) Fedderke of Chester, IL; grandchildren, Caitlin, Aubrey and Andrew Fedderke, Casey, Alexandria and Adrianna Fedderke, Jacob and Jesse Fedderke, and Marissa, Garrette, and Hunter Worthen; brothers, William (Nila) Fedderke of Murphysboro, IL and Roy (Marilyn) Fedderke of Chester; sisters-in-law, Adelle Fedderke of Chester, Marilyn Fedderke of Steeleville, Mary Fedderke of Coulterville, Ethel (Roger) Meyerhoff of Arrington, TN and Jeannie (Norman) Grau of Chester; several nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by Parents; three brothers, Kenny, Henry and Donnie; and one sister, Fay Oetjen. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Bremen with Rev. Carla Rush officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Bremen. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Monday and on Tuesday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given to St. John's Sunday School/Youth Fund.
