SPARTA – Robert W. Zierenberg, 60, of Sparta, IL, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022.

Robert was born February 26, 1961, in Scott Air Force Base, IL, to Henry and Erma Ehmke Zierenberg. He married Margaret Diamond in Cutler IL. Robert was a United States Army Veteran. Robert was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Sparta, IL. Robert loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, fishing, and Barbecuing.

Robert is survived by his wife Margaret Zierenberg of Sparta, IL; Children: Chris, Cassie, Elisha, Rose, and Robert; 17 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; and one brother Dennis.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Roberts wishes were for cremation, Burial will take place at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis, MO.
