CUTLER, Robert R. "Thumbes" Themm, 64, of Cutler, passed away at 6:12 PM Friday, January 8, 2016, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois. He was born August 27, 1951 in Brighton, Michigan the son of Richard and Joan (Murdock) Themm.

Robert was a Laborer and was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the NRA and a former member of Cutler Fire Department.

He is survived by his sisters: Rita M. Wood, Cutler, IL, Carla Burgdorf, Red Bud, IL and Veronica Proulx, Bald Knob, AR, several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Barbara Davis and Bonnie Jean Hammonds, 1 brother, Harold F. Themm and 2 nieces, Tiffany and Kimberly.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, with Flo Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, IL. Visitation will be Thursday at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, where friends may call from 6 to 8PM and on Friday from 7:30am until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Association.
