AVA – Robert Michael "Mike" Levan, 70, formerly of Ava, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at his home in Crawfordville, Florida.

Mike was born on May 10, 1953, in Murphysboro, IL, the son of Robert L. and Jewell E. (Tope) Levan. Mike was a retired Coal Miner and Equipment Operator. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Murphysboro, IL.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Anissa (Max) Falmier of Goreville, IL, his grandchildren, Rawley and Brooks Falmier, his sister, Gayla (Mark) Bradley of Steeleville, IL, his brother-in-law Carl Gustafson of Lockport, IL, his nieces and nephews: Eric (Molley) Gustafson, Shaun Gustafson, Andrea (Charlie) Westerfield, Chelsea (Chad) Maddox; several great nieces and a great nephew.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Deborah Gustafson.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava,  IL, with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Christian Cemetery, Murphysboro, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Wilson's Funeral Home, where friends may call from 8:30 – 11:00 am.
